Don grew up in California and Oregon, was a 1988 graduate of the US Air Force Academy, flew the KC-135R refueling aircraft at Fairchild AFB, WA and Robins AFB, GA and has been a pilot for United Airlines since 1997. He has flown internationally for the past 8 years on the 787 Dreamliner, flying mostly to Europe and Asia.
Don has worked on many local political campaigns in Colorado and served as a campaign manager for a State House campaign in 2014. In 2016 he was elected to be a National Delegate to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
He has been married for 27 years to his lovely wife Renee and they have two daughters, a 3rd-year law school student in St. Louis, and a State Department representative in Washington, D.C. In his free time Don enjoys traveling with his wife Renee, and attending to their two dogs.
